Description

ABOUT: Sometimes the world of wine can feel a bit too serious. In this meditative stew emerge Catherine and Pierre Breton, drifting over the wine world from the beautiful Loire Valley. The wines they make are excellent, every one of them, all hugs and warm welcomes. Interestingly their wines represent one of the rare occurrences where the label artwork and the wines within really sync up. You’re dead inside if you don’t agree. Besides being charming people (I’ve only heard by other charming people) they were early adopters of organic and biodynamic viticulture, becoming certified for both in the 1990’s and continue to wow the wine world with excellent Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc. We here at Bio Wine can’t get enough of them and we’re happy to be able to offer them to you, so please give them a try.

TASTE: The label illustration and the vibe of this wine really sync up, relaxed, laid back, another evening chillin' on top of a bed of grapes. Just like most evenings at Bio Wine hq. This DRY Chenin Blanc from Vouvray is always a pleasure, aromas and flavors of limes, apples, pears, cantaloupe, finished with a salty rim. A real celebration of fresh, bright, crisp Chenin at it's stony finest.

PAIR: Tempura, cold cucumber soup, roasted tomatillo enchiladas with black beans, strawberry kale salad with nutty granola, quesadillas, potato chips, pesto, and guacamole.
